I'm looking for a game to join during the weekends or weeknights (based on U.S. Central Time Zone). I've just started playing a few weeks ago, but the AI is boring. I could play a minor power to get used to multi-player, or play a major power and accept the fact that I'll make lots of mistakes. I have high speed internet if that matters.

Hi There!
I've been playing for a long time, but I have only been playing online for a couple of months. Apparently I need some practice!! lolll Anyway, I live in the USA in EST.....We should be able to do something here!! I like playing historical only and I prefer to play Germany.....beings I don't know how to play any other country..loll Let me know is your interested!! KngTigerII@comcst.net..
TigerII

BOTH of you need to join my weekend gaming group, I've got several people already and am trying to organize them for a game. For sure, I already have 3 people including myself, and 5 with the other two if I can get them ready for the game tomorrow.

You guys are more than welcome to join, and I am more than happy to keep the sessions organized.

I live in CST as well, and all the people I know can show up to the game are in North America.

Add me to MSN: tainted_shrooom@yahoo.com

Or YIM: tainted_shrooom

OR AIM: Kagernaut

My nickname on MSN is Razor, and thats usually what I go by.

The idea is to play a more historical scenario of WWII...so yeah, there will be some rules, but the environment is designed to be casual and relaxed so any suggestions to the rules are more than welcome.

The idea is to play saturdays, usually early in the morning or so. For me, I usually work starting at 4PM, though tomorrow I work in the morning from 11-4. I'm trying to get the game going for sometime after that, it would work good if everyone in the group is from NA and could attend.

Here are the very basic rules I have so far:

-Germany cannot dow anyone till Danzig event.

-SU must accept all trades from GErmany if it does not force it to go negative in any of its resrources, up till Danzig.

-Japan cannot dow anyone until victory in China.

-No Couping of allied nations while at war with them.

-US cannot Dow anyone until Japan attacks it. Japan must accept Surprise Attack event.

-SU cannot dow allies till Axis are defeated. As well, it cannot dow any future allied nations, ie Brazil. Allies are restriced in the same way.

-Turkey cannot be allied, unless turkey AI dows.

If you think you can show up regularly for the game, you are more than welcome to attend. We'll likely be using Hamachi as it makes all those nasty router problems go away, but we'll possibly need a different host than myself if we have more than 5 people total.

It looks like the game will be starting from around 5PM CST, considering my work schedule.

Please, get MSN so you can add me and download Hamachi if you are willing to participate, and try to be ready tomorrow in the afternoon. I can assure you I'll be on.

It would---if we get enough people---likely be a '36 scenario based off the rules above.

Yeah I figured that was you.....

But, if not hamachi, everyone at least should be on MSN at the right time. I use hamachi because it takes care of the annoying router problems for me.

question

do you need hamachi to play or does that just assist in joining games?....in other words?....do we all need to be using it to play?

Its difficult for those with routers to host games, and sometimes it seems to cause problems for those with routers to join games as well. Hamachi bypasses that all; and it makes it easy to get everyone organized without using Vnet.

Anyway, we had to postpone the game till next week, due to unfortunate circumstances relating to myself.

Hamachi would allow us to host using the LAN option.

This is ideal, because Hamachi itself creates a unique seperate network that allows us to do this---the network is always there and everyone is always connected as long as they run Hamachi.

Basically, all you would do is host the game after going into the Local Area option, and we'd all join using the same thing as if we had a real LAN connection.

It bypasses routers this way somehow.
