So, one of the things I find particularly exciting about Arsenal of Democracy is the serious increase in the number of releasable nations, particularly in Africa. For instance, it's no longer just "Vietnam" but now Communist Vietnam or Nationalist Vietnam. There's also nations like Chad, Kenya, Niger, etc, which simply did not exist in previous HoI 2 games, but do exist today in the real world.

The reason this excites me is mainly because it seems like it really helps out for people (like myself) who are interested in making custom events to extend the game's timeline all the way to the modern age. I've often toyed with doing a little light modding work in my free time just to fill out the game and extend it into the Cold War period, so that events like the Cuban Revolution or even Vietnam or whatnot could be represented.

Problem is of course, these nations seem totally incomplete. Many of them do not have flags at all, and they have no ministers or leaders. Instead, these nations have "Shadow" ministers, like the Red Shadow or the Blue Shadow, etc.

I understand this is largely because the files required for it are not present. How could I fix this? I've fiddled quite a bit in the past with minister files, but seeing as how there are no minister txt files for say, Chad, it appears I'd need to write one from scratch. This is something I'd be willing to do, in fact it kindof sounds like fun to me, but is there somewhere I can read up on how to do that?

Edit: Embarrassingly I now see that there's already a sticky thread for a mod to add ministers. Still though, is there a place I can learn how to better modify nations in AoD for future works?
