I just gained access to a highspeed wireless connection so finally after many years I have to chance to play EU2 online :)

I'd like join anybody's game if possible. I'm new to this. So I thought this thread would be the best way to start my EU multiplayer experence. Hope playing against a real human will be more fun than the AI :rofl: .

DHP, Different Historical Paths, is gonna start January the 11th. Post there if you're interested in being Austria, Ottoman Empire or Lithuania. Those are the countries still open. Be aware that it's on the vanilla map, but many thing and countries have been changed/deleted/added to make it more difficult for humans.

Funny, I just came here to find a game myself. I've played a couple MP games with people I know through another game, but nothing major. I love EU2 :D
 
Solus, check first the awesomely good thread of J. Suvinnen, What do you need to know to play MP . Then you can contact the various people in the MP threads around here for an empty slot somewhere :) . To emphasize what is posted in J Suv's post, get ICQ and add people around, mine is at my sig ;) :) . Good luck.
 
I was looking at the multiplayer games suggested but all the times are in CET :( too early for me I'm afarid. I live in America also to note. Anyrate I shall look around this forum and perhaps find a a game that fits my free time.

Good Solus.. :) ... a bunch of players and I play on America's time slot at ATE2 and I believe there's another MP called Friday Night or sth.. btw, I already added you ;)

Balinus is game mastering game called Newbies. Second version is called; Generation of Newbies/Kingdom Stage. Fenomenal game exclusively for noobs. I don't advise you to go directly in game with a lot of veterans. They will accept you but from pure greed. You can bet they will all attack you at once to grab as much as is possible while the noob is in one of their countries. ;)

However, this game is over now since mid-december approx. :D

edit - the thread is on artificial life support by the wonderful crew that played in this game :)

We're in need of a new Sweden. It was originally played by a fellow named Dago, who's among the most ferocious in this community, but he has since gone missing. Although it's not in the best shape right now, it has its best events, monarchs and leaders ahead of it, and will also be compensated for the time it has spent AI'd.

While this is a veteran game, most of those veterans are so veteran that they're curmudgeonly, and more than willing to ramble on and on about the Ways of the Game, the Nature of the Game, the Ineffable Mysteries of the Game*, Being the Game and Learning to Love Yourself Even After Losing A War to Hive. They're less likely than any group-upstart vets like Oz and bloodthirsty novices who think "BoP" is just another great game created by that genius HG-to take advantage of your inexperience.

So, if you're free Wednesday nights at 4:30 PST/7:30 EST for four hours, well, bottoms up, I say.

*Such as, where is Slargos? What happened to Slargos? Why does this always happen to Slargos? Who is Slargos? And why, after all these years, does Slargos still suck so bad?
