Olé!!!, thanx for this jewel sprites :)

Top Notch BeBro!

As to your next endeavour... - if I was allowed a 'vote' I'd go for something like the FGT tree - relatively short progression but some great distincive models in it - would just love to see your Go-229!

Anyway, thanks for the great work, and whatever you choose to do next I'm sure will be awesome as these are.

Nice one Bebro. I think that Paradox should hire you for their "spriting" team.

If i could make a suggestion.... i think that tank sprites should come next it would be awesome to have different sprites for light and medium tanks.

Another fine piece of work, thank you!

So here are the CV sprites :)

Below there's a preview, you see there Graf Zeppelin (Ger), Akagi (Jap), Bearn (Fra), Enterprise (US) and in the lower row Illustrious (UK), Aquila (Ita) and the Soviet "Project 71" pre war design of a CV. This one existed only on paper, all others were built but of coure Aquila and Graf Zeppelin didn't went into active duty. I made the colors and markings on the flight decks after models I saw on the web, so if we assume those model builders were doing a good job they should be quite accurate. Only for the SOV CV I had to guess, since I couldn't find much more then the blueprint I was directed to in the other thread.
So...i see that u did one soviet carrier. And what´s next? Tanks? but why not more ships!...but anyway GREAT JOB!

Thx for the nice comments everyone :)

As for the next, I don't plan to make sprites of normal (foot) inf or cav, but I still have some planes and vehicles like tanks or halftracks as 3d models sitting on my hd that I could turn into sprites....

All these CV sprites are labeled level 1, so they are used for any CV built by one of those countries. I thought this is the best solution since there's exactly one CV sprite for every major country now. All others use still Paradox' CV sprite (if they ever build CVs at all).

Download: http://rapidshare.de/files/33221433/Ships02.zip.html
(ca. 4 MB, unzipped ca. 78 MB). I'll ask PackMan for mirroring that file too so that we get a better download location :)

Installation: Similar to my other sprite packs, if you unzip the downloaded file, it should create a folder called "gfx" under Ships02. Drop the "gfx" folder in your main DD folder "..\HOI Doomsday", it has a sub-folder structure like the game and therefore all files should be automatically moved to the neccessary destination from there, so you should be ready to play then.

nice bebro ;)

the chimney smoke is much better, than by the other ships.
