Howdy, I just bought this game and I seem to be having a problem. I play the game for like 30 minutes and it randomly just drops me from the game. Also, I have no idea how to load a saved game. I assumed that clicking on the saved game name and flag on the left would start that saved game, but it does nothing.

I am running a Mac with OS X Version 10.4.8
It has the dual 2 GHz Intel processers
I have 1 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM
I have over 100 GB free space
I got the game from VP games.... www.vpltd.com

If you need any more information from me please feel free to ask, I'm pretty new to this Mac experience.

Do you have the latest patch?


Try to rename avi folder to avi.old

For loading a save game, click on save game, select country on the right side and then press start.

I dont have any patches...which one(s) should I get? I figured the game would actually work when I got it...
I changed the avi to avi.old, and it seems to be working great now....so far.

Do you HOI2 or DD? HOI2 is patched to 1.3 and DD is patched to 1.2.

when you start a new game version number is up in the right corner.

I dont know if mac has the latest patch.

I have Hoi2 Version 1.3b for Mac....
This problem of the game just quitting randomly is still occuring (now instead of at 30 minutes, it quits out on me after 1 hour)....
Will a pacth fix this problem? Or is there something else I should do?
And if there is a patch for the Mac version, any idea where that might be found?

Try and set colour depth to 16 bit.

You have the latest patch, see the link Mr.G provided, maybe the mac people can help
