Greetings and Salutations all!

I am a new person to the multi-player arena of CK and would like to form a game with other expierenced and newish players, to begin early to mid August.

I would really like it to be relitively mod-free*, starting 1066.

And, I have always wished to play as the Duchy of Gwynedd, with other human players for England, France, Scotland, and an Irish Duchy. Additionally, Someone for the HRE, Byzantium, someone in Scandinavia, and another in eastern Europe/Balkins. Maybe a total of 8 or more players. (Is there a limit to the total number of players?)

I am novice at this, any suggestions by the more expierenced community would be appreciated.

My hours are pretty flexabile on Thrusday, Friday, and Saturday, and I am based in Virgina, Eastern Standard. I am unavailable after 11 pm Saturday my time. But all other hours are flexable.

(* I was thinking to have Brittany mod'd for Breton Culture for our campaign, but that is not that important)

Thank You very much

d

There is no limit to number of players (other than you need a good host if you want to have over 10 players) :)

Lumping four players to British Isles and four others around the map does not sound a good idea to me :p I would suggest you to either play a "British Island dukes (including Brittany and Normandy)" -game or a "Kingdoms game (aka pagan and moslem bashing)" :)

Ya, I guess your right about "all lumped together". Its just I'm naturally partial to all those countires and would like to see them all played somehow. Your suggestion of all dukes on the island is great.. though eventually I am sure they would aspire to kingship in a grander campaign. As I am not expierenced in hosting I would naturally prefer more seasoned players to host... Gwynedd would be my natural comfort zone: a peripheral duchy, close enough to observe more expierenced players.
