Me, and my friend both have a copy, and have been trying to set up a MP game, but we seem to have a very dumb problem we are both missing. We both have cable modem connections, and both are receiving the same error message, so we are doing something wrong. When we try starting up Valkarie net it ALWAYS says it can't detect the network. And when we try to connecit Via our IP addresses it always says can't find a game at the IP we list... we use winipcfg... get the ip from there and put it as the number of the place we want to join, and it never detects the game... For either of us. So what are we doing wrong? Appriciate your time hope its not to dumb a quest, but we really would like to play this game together has to listen to us talk about the games we play :) The game is EU2.

Vnet was sometimes down in the past months, but now, everything should be ok.

IP adress: with WinIPcfg, you'll get two IP adresss, one for your network, the other one for your internet connection.

I've got dial-up here and I have "NDIS 5.0 driver" for my network card and I have "PPP Adapter" for my internet connection.

Say if NDIS 5.0 gives me 192.168.10.1, this is my network IP and it is the IP you must join to play on the network if you have an IP network. Most network don't have IP protocols enabled by default, so you need to play via Internet (I don't want to go through all the steps without having the computer in front of me :D ).

In WinIPcfg select your internet connection and check your IP adress. For example, 145.185.80.80, this will be the adress your friend needs to join to. You will be the host. I don't have EU2 with me here, so I can't remember how you host a game exactly, but it should be fairly easy :)

If you still have problems, post again :)
