Every time I try to download the newest patch my RAIDXpert starts spewing tons of error messages and then freezes or blue screens. As far as I cant ell, this only happens when I start the steam download of the newest CK2 patch. Now the patch download starts automatically, so I can't open steam.
 
You will probably have to contact Steam support to solve this, I don't believe there is anything we can do on our side.

You could try reinstalling Steam before contacting them to see if that solves it.
