OK, I still have about 3 decades left in my current campaign, but I'm thinking of a number from XXXX XXXXXX X what I should do for the next one. I'm thinking of doing a Balance of Power campaign, where I'll gain no new provinces (nor lose any :D ) but stuggle to prevent anyone from becoming too powerful. Maybe the Hanseatic League: in the middle of everything, and enough provinces to be economically viable.

Switzerland vs the World is always nice - even if it might not last all the way.

A GC game where you try to make the 1789 map look as similar to the real worlds one might be interesting - or had you done that one already?

Hm, that could be an interesting idea... Go conquer anomalous provinces, then start a war with their 1789 owner and corral them into said provinces until they capture them and offer them up as peace. Sounds kinda tedious, but fun.

I always found playing Morroco in EU1 campaigns entertaining.
:)

IMHO Hanseatic League is nice country to play, you have options to go against German minors, Denmark or Poland. I prefer fighting first in Germany.

Just remember, this will be the ultimate make-Morpheus-a-nervous-wreck campaign: NO annexations ever, not even diplomatic annexations. I suppose if I get a random inheritance I'll just have to go with it, but that's largely out of my control.

This isn't to say I'll be a pacifist in the campaign. In order to prevent anyone else from becoming too strong, I'll have to keep going to war with people. I'll just have to make sure my allies reap the territorial rewards (and keep switching allies ;) ).

I knew I could bring you out of hiding with that. :D

If you avoid making Royal Marriages I think you can insulate yourself from inheritances as well. ;)

Yeah, but it's going to take everything I've got to get the AI to help me maintain a balance of power. Besides, I'll want all of Europe as my vassals in order to get a large economy. :D

Well, as I said if you pick Hanseatic League, then you should first go to Germany, lot's of minors to vassalize. ;)

Well, we talked about it and now it's happened: I had a Dynastic Inheritance event in the game. Vote on how I should handle this:

_ Keep playing without any leaders, or
_ copy and paste their leaders (minus any royals) into my leader file?

Try to get their nation to revolt away from you by treating their provinces religions like dirt and reducing your stability.

(Which nations(s) are you talking about?)
Well, I should just tell you to go read the AAR, but seeing as how you're the moderator...

Playing the Hanseatic League, I inherited Brandenburg.

I think you should copy and past
