Night combat and Gibraltar

It seems to me that every time i attack with airplanes in night i get a -40% while the defender's air force gets nothing.Also this -40% does not seem to change no matter the tech i have(radars or other).It really makes no point for a Str. bombardment of Germany if German air force is not having the same - during night or atleast some of it.
The 2nd is that if an Axis nation captures Gibraltar Allies keep on sending convoys with fuel and supplies there.

Same happened to me. Thought it was an CORE bug, but it seems that the AI planes are ignoring night penalties. See my post about Strat Bomber without night penalty (It's post #871, which has some picture proof. The given link jumps two posts to low for some mysterious reason).
