No Cars or Pedestrians

Good Afternoon,

I recently reinstalled Cities: Skylines Windows 10 Edition, and when I start a new city, no cars or pedestrians spawn. I have tried different maps and nothing.

Buildings will construct, residential, commercial & industrial, however there is never any vehicles moving around or people. On one map, there were vehicles on the highway, however on another map, nothing at all.

P.S. This has happened on older Cities too that were fully developed with 26k population.

Obviously there is no bug like this in the game.

A bit hard to tell from those screenshots but I suspect you've done something odd with one way streets; cars need to be able to get there AND leave before they will come.

This was a clean installation of the game. Screens 3 & 4 shoe no traffic on the freeway, and the off ramps use two way roads. Screens 1 & 2 show cars on freeway but nowhere else.

There's no cars parked up or in driveways of the houses, and no pedestrians walking about either.

Traffic will only appear where there are residential AND commercial zones, AND the streets are properly organised so cars can enter and leave freely. Even then you often need to run the game for say 5 minutes.

Has that changed recently? Every other time I've played, vehicles and peds have started to arrive as soon as the first house was built, as you see them driving off the freeway to their new home.

It still doesn't explain why it's happening on older cities too though. I was playing a good 10 minutes the other night and nothing happened. Traffic flow was red on one section, but there was no vehicles there, and that's when I realised there was no vehicles anywhere.

Well, as I say there is no bug in the game like this, so it's something wrong there - as you've done a clean reinstall, it can really only be something in those cities causing it.

Any mods in use?

No mods at all being Win 10 Edition. When I say clean install, it's literally just Vanilla and nothing else, which is what's confusing me. I've read on other forums of it happening, but mainly on Steam with mods in use.
