TC Pilot and yours truly are having some connection issues with our partners in our ongoing multiplayer game.
The main problem is that, when some of them are hosting (and can connect to each other), we just cannot join the game. The really bizarre part is, we do not actually get the classical error message, as when we type nand random IP adress. Instead, the program freezes for a minute or so, then show no change at all ; we still have the flashing IP, the "join" button with our cursor on it, and we can click on it again to obtain the same effect.
So somehow our computer must detect that there is a game at the adress, it just cannot enter it.
With other persons it works like a charm, so that rules out many obvious answers things like firewall, antivirus blocking the program, etc.
Has anybody ever seen (and hopefully overcome) such kind of occurences ?
EDIT : my bad, it belongs in the multiplayer forum. Too many tabs...
