No focus button despite having " way of life"

Even though I have the DLC, the "Focus" button doesn't appear and I need to join multiplayer games to have access to it through my friend's game. The problem isn't solved even after uninstalling/reinstalling

I can see the Focus button in your screenshot, up the top right of your character next to the Ambition button.

I suspect you are confusing Focus with Crown or Royal Focus, which comes in The Reaper's Due - which I see you do not have.
