No info when selecting multiplayer save.

My wife and I were playing Crusader Kings 2 last night and we progressed to around 1116. When we went to play this evening and resume our game none of the save games work, the map is completely blacked out and we cannot select anything. This is the case with all the saves except one, made in 1068.

The only change we have made is to install the Pre-order DLC and I have disabled trees in my settings.

Anyone know how, if it is possible, we can fix this?

This was the same issue as everyone else by the look of it. We fixed it by deleting the character_interest lines from the saved games and they worked perfectly.
