No MP activity...

Hey, I have just played MP twice, because each time im on valkyrinet there is no one to play with!

To make a good game we should be at least 5 players, but I never see more than three in there, and some people don't have the same patch and so on... Quite annoying.
Has this game gone less popular and now there is no one around to play?

There are plenty of games going. Click on my sig and post on that site, many games are recruiting right now.

Allright thanks! Cause I was just in vnet and there were those two suckers who just wanted to play HoI for themselves. A two player game?! What a bunch of wankers, i'd say. So they did not wait to recruit anyone... and the other guy was so tired after playing with a finnish guy, but he was nice though.

So why do you have to recruit in there instead of just forming a game on vnet?

Anyway, I saw on your site that some games used .05c but its not an official patch... why don't wait for .06 ?
Now I'll just use .05 whern I host, and I hope you guys do too.



Ok, the problem with this system on your site :
I don't wanna wait a week until it's friday 27th just to play a litte gc. I wanna go in, find some guys and just start a game, if it's fun we play until we die, or we set a date to continue. That's the best system IMO.

Ok, now i'll just say we use 1.05 patches, so if someone wanna play just a casual game with as many players as possible, you just PM me and take notice of the IP-address if i'm to host at our campus: 129.177.50.193 if we don't meet at the vnet that is. See ya!

For your reference, 1.05c is a tweak pack by the games designer, it works fine, is as stable as 1.05 as far as anyone can tell and has been released (along with older versions of 1.05a 1.05b) to HoI players, tens of thousands of people have the tweak packs, and nothing is wrong with them.

It's our own forums, this means we can do things like be able to stick topics, keep game threads organized, have images for each user based on their performance in games, and hand out shiny badges for things like dedication and gamesmanship.

The Players Association consists of many players, and we play many games.

I'll try out the beta tweakpack... Already read a bit about it, but I normally use 05. Guess i'll have to use the beta to play MP games then.

Anyway, I think I'll just hang around in this forum and see if some people are interessted in playing some less formal games. I play EU2 as well... which country, who I play against, rules, etc, etc, it's just the same to me, as long as im allowed to join.

Go to the thread I indicated above and tell them you'd like in the game, might not want to waste anytime, games starting in a couple days.

Good! Some geeks in town probably want me to play an RPG or a boardgame this weekend, but it will be on sunday. Gonna play HoI first, and have a cup of coffee and a couple of beers.

I did not have the .05c patch so when i came in at 19:00 GMT, i could not join... so i went to download .05c, then I was there all left alone. they could not wait. Now i play EU2 instead.


...but i still want to play HoI too, of course.
