Audio work fine in launcher.
ingame for few secs to few minutes is OK
then everything stop. no audio at all

i have tried:
- running it as admin
- windows 7 and 8 compability
- re-installing the game
- switching fullscreen/windowed

EDIT: most of the time, when sound stop, Stellaris do not appear in Windows volume mixer. so i guees the audio session is stopping while i'm playing. what can cause that and how do i fix it?

still having the issue

Ok I was about to post my problem here as I saw yours. Just bought the game. I have no sound at all. - even on the launcher. BUT stellaris does appear in the Volume mixer

Ok here's what I found - I am using Headphones connected on a USB port. As previously stated since I bought yesterday Stellaris haven't had any sound and still haven't played this game.

Now I tried and disconnected my headphones and used my monitor speakers (that are awful btw) and using the monitor sound does work.

Is there a way for me to enable sound with the USB headphones?
