Just got the game and it seems to work but not the intro movie. After the Stragety First logo movie I get a dark screen with the music playing in the background. I can esc out of it and go then into the game screen. Very odd since when I surrender in the game I do see the loss movie of the city in flames.

I have attached all the info about my system. I'm using Windows ME and directX 8 with a NVIDIA GeForce2 card and all the current drivers. Would like to know what the problem is :)

THanks!

Nice little system you've got there.
However, I'd try to free up some of that internal memory as well, 200mb taken (by what?). Maybe close down some tsr's?
Probably won't matter at game start that much, but you may get into trouble later on in the game.

Whenever I try to watch the intro movie my game crashes. I don't try and watch it anymore :D I don't mind as long as the game doesn't crash.

U can watch the intro anyway with Windows Media Player or sommink after u located it in the game files.

I agree with 'The Dutch Master' (Oranje).

Nice sys, but what in the Name of the Seven Vestal Virgins are you doing with only 55 left available out of 256? Are you running a few movies AND a game while you were printing out the report? A nice lean setup should be using 64 (if you're lazy like me) or even less, and you will be able to laugh at (and ignore) the 'EU Jerky' (is it beef?) issue.

Sorry, dunno where those hints can be printed out. Have to ask the master.
