Disables teleportation of resources in the following situations:
  • When resource is traded, traffic reduction is no longer applied, generating a trip for every trade action
  • Companies will no longer spawn with initial resources, requiring them to buy them before they can start producing goods (can be configured in the options with a custom initial resource amount)
I have tested this mod with a city of 20k population and it works fine. If you have a larger city, please let me know if you encounter any issues.
 
I have a modded install with a small town of 1,175 people and your mod doesn't work for me. It loads and shows up in the in-game options after loading the save, but it doesn't work. New industries spawn with 15 tons of stock. I'll try a clean playset

Okay, that's odd. It works on my new save with only your mod, extended tooltip, and road builder by TDW. I'll try creating a new save with my full mod list and see if a new save is required

The game has companies that haven't moved in yet anywhere. If you use the mod on an old save, these "homeless" companies will still have their starting resources, and you must wait for newer companies to spawn. It's easiest to start a new game if you want it to apply from the beginning.
 
Hi! Fair warning to everyone using Historical Start Mod with this mod: DO NOT FORGET to unlock the Rail Node if your City / town is rail-centric because otherwise the cargo train won't load cargo from external connections
 
This mod is causing a crash at game start on 1.1.8F1. This was determined after disabling all other mods and renabling one at a time - this was the only mod to cause a crash.
thanks for commenting .. I was going crazy trying to see which mod was causing the CTD lol..
I have also notified the modder on discord. Lets hope they will update it soon!
I really enjoy this mod! itis amazing seeing delivery van goin to buy products.
 
I wasn't able to verify the crash, but I published a recompiled version (no changes, just compiled against the new game binary). I hope it solves the issues. If not, there might be a new conflict between two mods that caused the problem or something else that needs more investigation.
