No Victory Points???

In my 1.08 UK version I get no victory points at any time in the game. I didn't get them in the 1.07 version either.

At the beginning of the scenario, I could not write my name, but something like QMX17TH appeared instead - could not change it later, either.

Same crash bug as others reported after about 1 h game. Music sometimes functions, after a while sound effects get corrupted (as in jamming on, or just incomprehensible)

192 MB RAM, PIII 450 MHz.

You have to turn victory points ON before you start your scenario. Default settings are OFF.

They are under Options and are called "Base Victory Points".

Also, disable any and all programs residing in your Memory (firewalls, ICQ etc.)

might not be a problem with your computer but for those with less power (like me ) restart your coputer before starting the game

No victory points!!

I too have experienced the same problems as Carl Victor.

1. Not being able to enter my name (I get something like "WK1734D")
2. Music crashing during Save Game operations.
3. The entire game dissapearing without trace during play, reverting to the desktop.
4. And of course no victory points awarded.
