It'd be great if we explore (in future mods) deeper in the culturas issue. We always have limits for our expansion, we had little gratification about cultures, we always fear cultures (well, penalizations within them). isn't it time to innovate there?

In MP games, people gets very static once they control every province with their culture, and only get wealthy non cultural provinces, like COTs. Maybe we can give additional incentives to get more non-cultural provinces wealthy or not;

-random events (just like random convertions) that permit to convert a province to our culture.
-historical events.
-provinces being held by decades under control converting to state culture
-gain a culture somewhat, historical or not,
-losing a culture, a province converting to a different culture
-losing/getting cultures when controlling 100% of a culture (or different percentage rate) when controlling those provinces for a time (you name it)
-etc etc,

be dynamic, my friend. :p This would improve MP a lot.

random events: simply not possible, or better, you'd have to create a specific random event for every country, value = -1 for culture doesn't work, i tried it :)

historical events: you mean that a province will have culture x as stories says? but if it in your game is colonized by y?

btw.. you can always edit your savegame :p

very accurate, gentleman.

let's see. historical events like genocides, colonization of former territories, assimilation... etc

well, editting is always an useful tool (rules in MP for example that permit this after session), but I was expecting dynamics and luck inside gameplaying without having to edit anything.

As I understand it, a lot of MP games have 'house rules' for dealing with this; in other words the GM will edit the save file to give people cultures etc if they deserve them under the rules.
