So, I recently got the mod, and the first thing I noticed is that the NPCs around me tend to make nonsencial war declarations on me. For example, if I have 4K troops a neighbour with 2,5K troops will declare war on me.

I don't understand why they do this? It tends to become a gameplay problem when I have several neighbours that have like ~70% of my troops because they do it over and over until my levies are depleted to the point where I start losing.

The NPCs in question aren't allied or anything.

Are you tribal? I think enemies only take into account your levies and not the vassal levies you can call in as allies when you are tribal. May be a vanilla bug actually. But if it's something you only noticed in CK2+... I don't know.

What I find strange is that often the AI will attempt completely suicidal attacks. Like, equal numbers or even slightly less, often into defensive terrain. Sure, the AI can be tricked with ambushes anyway, but when they start attacking equal-sized forces over rivers I don't know what they're thinking... Once, I've even had an enemy attack me with like 40% of my forces and no other factors to their advantage. Crazy AI... What really causes it to start botching things though is having high Imperial Decadence and consequently extremely low morale - yet they still appear to take me on like they had full morale.

The mod does not control the AI's decision-making process regarding when they will use CB's. That's just what the game does, and there's not much a mod can do about it.

I've noticed this, as well, but the attackers have always been in a coalition against me. I figured it was because the AI hasn't read the patch notes and still thinks it can call its pact-mates into aggressive wars against me.

Happens in vanilla a lot, too.

Never really had an issue with this. In most of my games the AI will wait until they can really lay a beating on me and then declare war...usually after I crush a major rebellion or deal with a massive adventurer force. Then before the levies build back up....WHAM! France, the HRE or some massive blob waltzes across my borders.
