Just started playing AFFC as Edric Dayne and before a year had passed both his lowborn mother and his wife asked for a title. When he denied his wife he even got tyranny for it. Something is wrong with the way valid relatives is calculated.

Yeah it seems in the last vanilla patch they changed the is_close_relative trigger so spouses are valid targets, will address this problem, thanks for the report.
