Disapearing Units after the Partition of Poland

As Germany I annexed Poland. Then accepted the historical choice giving eastern Poland to the USSR. ALL (15+) of my units in those eastern Polish provinces disapeared. I looked in my force pool to see if they had strategically redeployed but they weren't there.

I couldn't reproduce it with a saved game--maybe I was wrong. Sorry.
 
Not a problem. I'd rather have people tell about things that might be bugs and turn out not to be, than have everyone complaining 3 patches down the line that there are still too many bugs.
