Music Doesn't Play

512 ram
ess maestro sound card
geforce2go 32mb gfx card
win XP

for some reason my music doesn't play in game. it never even plays at the menu screen, never starts at all. i get sound effects, but no music. yes i've checked to see if sound up in options settings and on my computer itself . i went into music files and could play them while not in game. thx for any help in advance

found problem. for some reason music was disabled in settings. i must have changed it unless that is default

Default setting is that music is on.

this happened to me too. I think it may have been caused by installing the patch. I changed it back in the configuration screen afterwards, but I definitely didn't turn it off myself.

No actually when I first installed Victoria the default music setting was Disabled.

i bought new comp and reinstalled vicky and music was at disabled again. i only checked after i had installed 1.01 and i'm sure i didnt change it myself this time. maybe the patch is resetting music to disabled or it is defaulting that way for some reason. havnt seen many others complaining of it, so maybe only happenes to certain systems, or maybe just NA version. just want to let you guys know it is defaulting music to disabled when installed for some reason.

Unfortunately Paradox does not write the installer for the SF version. So we have no control over such things.
