Bug re: monthly budget, research sliders, and market UI

Playing GC as France w/ 1.08, year circa 1810.

Noticed that when I went to the screen to place merchants, then back to the slider screen, my treasury slider would jump all the way to the right. I'd adjust it and all was well.

Then, I maxed out my land tech and adjusted my trade and infra sliders to take up the slack.

Here is where I noticed a discrepancy in my monthly ledger. My treasury slider was set at a loss of around 8D / month, but my monthly income was coming in around 200D / month. A few in-game required actions later, I noticed it went back to my set treasury slider amount, about -8D / month.

Is it possible that my investment into land tech, after it maxed, was a kick back or that by bumping my trade & infra techs boosted my merchant income? Or, a bug?

You need to exit the treasury screen with the OK button to preserve any changes you've made there, not by just choosing another tab or button.
