Maybe I am misunderstanding this file, but it seems that the POPs covered by it are farmers, not slaves. However, in 1836, Dutch Guyana at the very least should have slaves. Did something get mixed up here?

Additionally, according to this link, http://perso.wanadoo.fr/yekrik.yekrak/chronoeng.htm
there should be slaves in Cuba, Puerto Rico, Venezuela and French Guyana in 1836 as well. Perhaps the guyana_slaves.csv file can fix the French Guyana situation, but I'm not sure what to do with the others.

I think this may be another case of the missing "slaves = yes" thing in the country's .inc file, unless it's intended. As for the other countries, read Derek's post regarding POP fixes/changes (it's stickied, in this same sub-forum).

Nope - this is a bug. Should be slaves in the Danish province. Others are unlikely to get changed.

Damn you posted before I deleted it - the Danish 1750 province which I thought this was refering too has an event which frees the slaves and I don;t think it has any to free in the first place

Dutch emancipation

Perhaps he means Dutch -- the 40,000 slaves in Dutch Guyana/Curacao were emancipated in 1863.
