Not able to place Campus DLC buildings on campus paths

Not able to place Campus DLC buildings on campus paths

Expected Result​

The campus DLC buildings should be able to be placed on campus paths

Actual Result​

The campus DLC buildings that i should be able to place on campus paths (dormitories, etc) simply refuse to be placed on those paths, displaying a "cannot be placed on this road" message, no matter the type of building or the campus type (university, liberal arts, etc). However, those buildings can be placed on normal roads. For some reason, placing the building first and then drawing a path in front of it works but its tiresome.

Steps to reproduce​

In a campus zone, draw a campus path and try to place a compatible campus building on it.

I loaded your city and it seems mods are missing. but there are no workshop associated to your saved game. and it is a newer saved game than in your screenshots.

It loads fine and works fine, it just seems to be missing the 81-tile powers all buildings so you won't need power lines. it also eliminates water lines too, but you had those built as well.

But I couldn't get things to work properly until I noticed your campus district seemed to have a second zoning to it, or something. You had the normal single star you get on creation and a name. But under the name it had a yellow dot of some sort, It looked like a double zone, but it wasn't a star.

anyway, All I did was just bulldozed all campus buildings in that zone and erased its zone. Then I redrew it all and everything is fine and working as intended.

my only guess is the zoning got double zoning somehow, or a mod broke it in some way.
