not able to play anymore

I recently changed my operating system to windows XP and since then I haven't been able to play HOI. I get to see the intro demo but then the game ALWAYS crashes back to desk top.

Does anybody have any suggestions? Pretty please

It can probably be resolved by renaming the \HoI\avi folder to \HoI\avi_old to disable the binkplayer which can cause problems with XP.

Let us know if this works. If not, we'll need complete system details please (cards/driver versions/etc.).

There is also an XP update which may help with this problem. Make sure you have all the updates for your new operating system.
Also you may need to update your video and audio drivers for your new operating system.
