After my first son, I did not get any more prompts for children's education. Anyone else having this issue?

We have updated our Community Code of Conduct. Please read through the new rules for the forum that are an integral part of Paradox Interactive’s User Agreement.
After the game progressed a few decades I'm not getting these education events at all. Not even the modifiers for no education.
Do you still get reasonable education? I could live without the events but education being totally broken would make long term games unplayable.
seems to just stop working every once and a while. Sometimes its working others it stops. Scripted event must be bugged
Same issue, sometimes I get a pop up for a child but it's very rare. At the same time this stops dragon-intel, and yet to receive any dragon eggs or events from training children. I usually send some troops to one of the intel-spots on a new game and see if it fires, if it does then I have yet to experience the other stuff mentioned not working.

Sorry for necroing this, but is there an easy way to fix this issue myself? I really don't want to miss this great feature.

Found the event list. Unfortunately, all pop ups are directed at your character, not your children. Tried to workaround that and provide their character ID's but no luck. No worries. However, if your character is a child and between the age of 5 and 12 and you still wish to reap the benefits (or flaws if you happen to be a lousy student) of the education system.
Open up the console and enter one of the following (minus speech marks)...
"event reeducation.1" - This will choose the education for you.
"event reeducation.2" - You can choose the education you want.
If you've missed the mark and you're an adult, yet still want an educational trait.
"event reeducation.7" - Courtier Education.
"event reeducation.8" - Steward Educated.
"event reeducation.9" - Martial Education.
Ideally not the best workaround but hopefully this will help out a few people who are missing it from their game until the update comes about.
