As you may know, i am currently working on a Romanian AAR (and yes, you should read that one too )

But, i wanted to have some fun also. So, i bring you, a polish AAR.

Objectives, hold the country from dirty dirty facists

forts and AA along the river, dont be a stubborn bastard who wants yo keep every province. also some AT brigades may be worth the cost-specially with the new stats for artillery techs:wacko:

Good luck.....poland is my favourite minor in HoI and it is always interesting to read different strategies on how to survive the german onslaugt.

If the war is going badly try moving some units into slovakia and puppet it or annex them, it gives you some more weeks to live.

Haha, Poland was blessed with perfect Tank Country, so I don't know how you could pull it off (commands maybe?). Either that, or sheer ballsiness/luck/skill

ive accually done it with superior Generalship, i let the germans come far in then surround and attack with my Tanks, works every time. of course some times they break out and that will really test your skills.

Good luck ! I just finished a polish game in Stony Road ( normal difficulty ) and had annexed germany by the end of 41 ( hungary and slovaquia fell long before ) and took Romania and Bulgaria in the summer of 42. The key ( for me ) is to take eastern prussia early, it'll free lots of troops ( usually 3 of my 10 armies ). The province not to loose for my is Bydgoszcz for it is like an arrow deep in your heart pluging toward Warsawa and cutting you from the coast and reinforcements.
