Now I am ****** PISSED

I finally get a game setup I like. Not in the North or South Poles, and saved my game. Even named the save so I can know what it is.

I get the fracking stupid "sync" to clound. I download and now all my saved games are gone. GONE. Why should I even play when I know the "sync to cloud" will show up again and just ruin everything I play.

What am I to do now? So freaking frustrated, why did I even pay $50. Finally having fun and bang, crappy programming ruins my experience.

Just so mad.

All I see is a few files.

1002.client.2
1002.info
1002.logic

then it does the same thing but 1003 and 1004. Then I have autofirstturn.client.2 autofirtturn.info and autofirstturn.logic.

I click on them it as to go to an app store. I don't see my saved games, unless autorunfirst turn is my saved game. Where is my named saved games?

I even didn't name a saved game, just kept what was default as well and it doesn't show up as well. Unless that is what the 1002, 1003 are. Not sure what is 1004.

The 1002.*, 1003.*, 1004.* etc are the save files. The named saves should only be in the list, not in the file name itself. So having 1002.*, 1003.* and 1004.* would mean that you have three saved games that aren't autosaves.

So it seems that the save files are there, but that you cannot find them in-game, is that correct?

Hard to say now. I have deleted everything and starting over from scratch to see if that will happen again. Hopefully not. I will make sure that I back up my saved games, and see if this replicates.

Sorry for the rant earlier, I was so upset. I have finally calmed down. I know the developers are doing the best they can. Just being human, got upset at finally having a great time with the game.

I am sure the problem occurred when the "sync to cloud" files not the same happened. So if it happens again, should I instead of downloading to PC, upload to cloud so the files are the same?

Easy to get upset sometimes, no worries. =)

And yeah, if you always play on the same computer (or you're on the computer you last played on), you can definitely pick upload to cloud if they don't match, since the saves on your computer are going to be the most recent one.

Here is the weirdest thing now. Uninstalled it, reinstalled it, tried a few quick games, and now I have 2 named saved games, with the same name. I know I deleted all my saved games, auto and named, and made one saved name game. Now I have 2 saves of the same name, where I know before I only had one saved name game, and auto saves.

I had the "sync" notification again, so this time, I uploaded instead of downloaded. So not sure what is going on now.

I thought being on the same computer, I shouldn't be out of "sync" at all. Only have my laptop that I play on.
