Now i've done something dumb again. please help.

I wanted to do a fresh install of HOI for the 1.05c patch. so i moved the old folders and tried to install, but it wouldn't let me. I had the button to uninstall but it didn't do anything.

So i try getting windows do delete it, it says that hoi is 0.94 megabyte, but clicking on the uninstall there doesn't do anything either.

Moving the folders back doesn't seem to fix it either...

I have XP.

You could try removing it from the add/remove program screen.

Or do it manually.

Delete the Folders, keep your saves if you like.
Then remove the HOI entries from your registry.

I tried this. what i called "getting windows to delete it". I can click on the delte button of the program as much as i want, but nothig happens.

I want to keep the old versions (some modding done there).

What do you mean with registry? The file with that name that i found was a .class and i couldn't read it's content.
