NPC location bug after joining travel via event

Description​

The listed locations are nonsensical for two NPCs who joined my caravan during a university trip from Devon to Rome, breaking anticipated interaction options upon return.

One is Ælfswith, the (initially) pregnant concubine of a neighboring ruler, Jarl Þorfinnr Hásteinnsson of Kent, and the other is their child (and heir) born during the journey, Tyke Þorfinnrsson Hæsteining. Before we returned to Devon, the mother was hired as Spymaster and Court Physician for Count Delá of Cabra, so her location now reads as "At Count Delá's Court in Devon" (while also still registered as the Jarl's concubine). Similarly, the son-and-heir's location reads as "At Count Þorfinnr's Court in Devon". Of course, neither of those courts are in Devon.

Because they are described as being in foreign courts despite being physically present in my county, I am only able to interact with them as though they are located at those courts. I looked forward to the possibility of imprisoning the heir since he would be located within my realm, but the game does not seem to recognize this.

It appears that the event that allowed Ælfswith to join my caravan had consequences that the game, disappointingly, was unable to handle.

Steps to reproduce​

I initiated a University Visit to Rome, and decided to route my caravan through Kent in order to visit Canterbury on the way. Immediately after departing, my "Find Caravan Master" decision completed, and I replaced my Caravan Master with a better option, Gratcant Is Aeron.

Upon arriving at Canterbury, Gratcant initiated an event requesting to stay behind so that he could be with the woman who captured his heart (the Jarl of Kent's concubine, Ælfswith). The three options were to agree, to refuse, or to invite her to come with us. Realizing who she was and imagining the possibilities this drama presented (absconding with the enemy Jarl's concubine and potentially his heir? Scandalous!), I chose to have her accompany us.

Ælfswith bore the son at some point, seemingly without issue. She was later hired as both Spymaster and Court Physician by Count Delá when we traveled through his county of Cabra; however, she remained with the caravan. Throughout, she continued to be listed as Jarl Þorfinnr's concubine. Nothing of note happened with Tyke Þorfinnrsson Hæsteining during the journey besides being born.

With the journey complete, both characters appear to be in my realm, and yet are described as being in foreign courts (paradoxically also described as existing in my home county). No Imprison option is available.

The save included with this report shows the state of things after returning from the trip. The fastest way to see the affected NPCs is to click the banner for the Jarldom of Kent to bring up Jarl Þorfinnr's card, where Ælfswith is (still) registered as his concubine. Her second child is Tyke.
