All my observer games seem to crash within 10-20 years, due to the 2.3 bug I haven't actually played the game just observed, so I was wondering if this is merely due to me being the observer or that the game actually crashes every 10-20 years xD.

I've had test games go 100-150 years in so far without any issues so its more than likely a) corrupt download of the mod b) one of the many stability bugs still present in the base game. Also which operating system are you using ? I've heard reports that linux is completely broken atm.

I used steam workshop to dl the mod, I still had an old version though so I deleted everything and the game automatically re-downloaded it, the issue still persisted. and I'm using windows 8.1 so I don't think that's the problem. Maybe I've been unlucky, or should do a complete swipe of all mod data unsubscribe and re-subscribe to CK2+?

I would try that yeah every so often workshop spits out a corrupted mod file. And i'd verify your ck2 files thru steam since that to can get screwy when they release a patch.

I'm trying it right now. I noticed something that might be causing a problem too, though I doubt it would. I installed CKII on my SSD while the mod itself is located on my normal Hard drive, maybe this is causing a problem.

Shouldn't be since I run that exact same setup.

with my testing so far I had no crash for 20 years, then for 5 years, now its going for another 20 no crash yet. the crash after 5 years I tried clicking the de jure kingdoms map and it creashed. So now I'm refraining from clicking anything and just looking around the map.

EDIT: it just crashed a minute after writing this.

The obvious question is, what version of the mod are you running? Any other mods with it? What is your checksum?

That's unfortunate, but a crash that occurs within intervals of 5-20 years -- maybe -- is not something we can investigate.

Also keep in mind that CK2 itself is extremely unstable at the moment. It's highly likely that any crashes, especially with that kind of an interval, are on paradox's side.

Funny thing, I'm having sort of a similar problem.

I have all the DLC, except for EUIV converter and the e-books (my christmas monies are long gone), I am, however running, with a ton of other mods, all building mods available on workshop, some cheat mods and female laws, FTT and some other minor things, I think none or, at least, not many custom events were added, apart from CK2+.

I have started some 9 new games, on 769, custom char tribal count in helsingland (or something like this).
I had a crash to desktop happening rather randomly, the first time happened after 17 years, second time it happened in around 38 years of game, and I would reload with the same mods and it would not occur on the same date, now, in my 10th game, after 80 years of rule the crash finally reappeared, I believe it happened once or twice during this playthrough, reloading makes it happen on a different date.

This all led me to believe it's some event that is crashing everything to hell. And now it was repeating, randomly through the year, in year 835-840 I installed the compatch of VIET+ now, and it seemed to stop, I am mostly sure it's some random event that tries repeating itself, and when the events are "shuffled" it either goes a long time without triggering, but sometimes it tries triggering incessantly.

I don't have the time to test another 100 years of vanilla to see if it happens, it might, it might not... Or it might just be an incompatibility with minor mods... I wish there was a way to find out which event is that...

FTT is included in ck2plus, all those other mods could definitely cause problems also.

Me too, after 2.3.2 patch from Paradox, the performance of ck2+ has been slowed a lot and it provides crashes often. I suspect those are from the 2.3.2 patch... but not sure. Vanilla 2.3.2 game is very stable and smooth
