I was wondering if there was a way to mod in an event that would force a province to switch sides to a occupying force after a set period of time, say after holding that province down for 5-10 years or so. I want to say I heard of other mods for EU3 doing something similar to this, but I may just be crazy.

Anyways, if anyone has any ideas on how to mod an event like this in, it would certainly help solve the issues with countries not giving up enough provinces in a peace. Just mod the occupied revolt risk to be a greater factor and then if a country counquers a province and can hold it for a set amount of time, it takes it.

Thanx in advance.

While you may still be crazy, its not due to this. The Magna Mundi mod for EU3 contained events for transferring long-occupied provinces to the occupier.

Thanx, the guys over at Magnus Mundi pointed out the file to me. I'm in the middle of deconstructing it and should have at least a basic version built for EU:R by this afternoon. Someone let me know if they are interested in it and I'll post it up.

Always interested in new & useful stuff, post away.

The file name is reclamando_provinicias.txt and it is in the events folder of the Magnus Mundi Gold directory. Some of the commentary is in Spanish, but Babel Fish translates it nicely. The whole file solely deals with the province transfer events.

Anyway, I should have one up for Rome in a few hours.
