From time to time I check the title history for various kingdoms such as the Stormlands, Vale and Westerlands as well as the family trees.
Now I'm aware that dating and the true length of history in Westeros may be off as hinted at in the books and even outright referenced by Sam but why do the Vale and Westerlands in particular have their rulers in the going back to the early 7000's listed as first man and old gods ?
At the very least the Andals arrived 2000-2300 years before the books are set so any rulers at that point from the major houses should be Andal culture group and faith of the seven.
Heck the Rhoynar only arrived 1000 to 700 years before the Conquest so things aren't adding up.
Very minor and unimportant in the great scheme of things I know but it's still bloody jarring.
