Old bug from domination dlc returns back

Description​

Ottomans wont be able to core thus wont be able to even conquer provinces that are bordered by their eyalets. this bug blocks ottomans expansion paths as you have to diplo annex misir and yemen just so you can conquer arabia later on. and annex eyalet i tunis so you can expand into west. this is an old bug that had occured in the first release of domination DLC later being fixed but with the most recent Şahanşah dlc this bug has returned to game, hindering ottoman gameplay drastically.

Steps to reproduce​

establish an mission tree eyalet such as eyalet i misir, yemen or tunus. declare war on a country that is only bordered by your eyalet and other 3rd party non combatant nations. go to peace deal screen and voila. you will see you are unable to demand provinces from the war target as the game says its not possible for ottomans to core said provinces. provinces are not adjacent to ottoman provinces, but are adjacent to ottoman eyalet provinces.

Is this really a bug or are you trying to take provinces on a different continent?

AFAIK ottoman core eyalets arent supposed to block you from taking provinces that not the ottomans but the eyalets themselves border. when domination first came out this was an issue because as soon as you eyalet the mamluks you couldnt conquer further beyond mamluks untill you diplo annexed them. this was fixed in next patch after domination. but now the shahanshah dlc came out this bug seemingly returned. i dont think there should be any reason not, for me to take the highlighted province because it borders my core eyalet persia. but i cannot. i took this ss quite late in campaing it would be way easier to show if i tried to conquer yemen with mamluks still as a core eyalet, the issue becomes more clearly visible in that case. and i am pretty sure the patch is the latest one with the dlc activated, otherwise i wouldnt have sell titles, call diet, notifications up left

The highlighted province in particular you shouldnt be able to take.
Assuming they follow the same rules as ordinary vassals (and your Capital still being Constanti)
it can border your subject all it wants. Its on another continent.

conquer yemen with mamluks still as a core eyalet

Would you have coring range into Yemen at that point?

Just having a subject alone isnt enough for taking land next to them.
There are other conditions.

Ok how do we close this thread now, as i did more experiments and finally figured it out. the reason why i couldnt take eyalet bordering provinces is because of overseas provinces mechanic. ottomans with their capital in konstantinniye cannot take subject bordering provinces in arabia as its counted overseas provinces. from now on if i want to expand beyond my eyalets i must move my capital in further east beyond anatolia. moving it from konstantinniye to hüdavendigar didnt mattered, but moving it from hüdavendigar to damascus and now all of a sudden i can core provinces in china as long as i have an eyalet bordering said province in china. issue resolved thanks for your help. i just have to move my capital around

But why?
You own Basra.
You have coring range into Persia in the south and in Ardabil.
You can just land there and core it. THat will further extend your coring range.

but moving it from hüdavendigar to damascus and now all of a sudden

Its not sudden.
Anatolia is Europe. The border to Asia goes northeast from Aleppo.
After moving it to Damascus (which is Asia) you could core provinces next to a Vassal in Manchuria (because is also Asia).
