I just updated and installed Legacy of Rome. The other DLC stuff shows up in the launcher but when I enter the actual game, it tells me I don't have them installed.

Tried letting Steam verify my files, deleted the DLC folder and verified again but it still doesn't work.

Any ideas?

same here as well. Just bought the new DLCs and the game is saying I need SoI to play as the Muslims and I have it installed. I've bought every CKII expansion/DLC so far, including the nonsensical ones. It seems 1.07/LoR broke the game, at least for some.

Confirming, Mongol faces, Sword of Islam, Ruler Designer and even Coat of Arms aren't working, haven't been able to confirm the music or unit packs are working or not though.

Even did a full reinstall because last patch that was the only thing that got all the DLCs working again for me. No Dice.

Before anyone suggests, Verifying steam integrity doesn't work either.

I have all DLC installed and when i go to setup screen only character portraits are screwy.(I get the Icons saying LoR and SoI are available)

Did a clean reinstall and manually reinstalled all DLC from GG.

I think it has something to do with Intel graphics cards/chips.

I also have game on steam(updated to SoI DLC and 1.07 autoupdate)

It's likely a Steam, rather than a Paradox, issue or your files are just not in sync. Did you try verifying file integrity and emptying your cache?

I've done all the troubleshooting for the game I'm aware of. Reinstalling, deleting both document folders and the game install folders, dissabling DLC and starting/restarting and reselecting DLC. Everything I'm aware. I will try to verify file integrity.

Not even ruler designer is working.

Well good luck then, I don't what it is. I just checked and mine are there. I know the last 3 games I've bought on Steam have had a contingency of people with issues. I know some people like to play through Steam but I dunno, if I had my choice ...

Someone mentioned in another thread that their DLC inside steam shows up as ValveProduct (Or something like that), but mine don't. They show up perfectly well.

So yea, no idea what could cause this.

Well, Let's take Sword of Islam for example. Steam States that I have it. I go to the CK2 folder and the DLC folder states that I have a DLC0## Zip and .dlc which should mean I have DLC installed. The CK2 Launcher states that I have Sword of Islam and it is indeed checkmarked. I load up Crusader kings 2, go to load up a campaign I had been playing pre-patch of a Muslim ruler. Go to press play "You can only play Muslim rulers with Sword of Islam"

To solve it uncheck al dlcs in the launcher, then run the game, then exit and run the launcher again but this time check just one dlc and rerun the game, and do it again for all dlcsby picking just one dlc at once and restarting/exiting the game.

We need more info:

* Verify exactly which DLCs are working and which are not. Do they show in the launcher?
* What OS are you using?
* Check your DLC installation folder (normally "Program Files/steam/steamapps/common/Crusader Kings II/DLC"). Do you have files there called dlc007.dlc, dlc007.zip (Sword of Islam)?
* If not, check the same in the folder "My Documents/Paradox Interactive/Crusader Kings II/DLC".
* Are you using a custom 'userdir'?

Also, please give us your logs (under "My Documents/Paradox Interactive/Crusader Kings II/logs")

As Doomdark says; we'll need more info.

We've tried to reproduce this with our QA steam accounts; with Ruler designer, Sword of Islam and Legacy of Rome installed, all three work just fine.

one thing you might try, beyond the information Doomdark mentions; try removing or renaming the dlc_signature file (in "My Documents/Paradox Interactive/Crusader Kings II"), see if it recreated correctly.

In case no-one yet knows, just restart steam and re-open it, it should then download something for CK2 which will be the missing DLC.
