I just tried a quick UK game. Something went badly wrong - when germany attacked and annexed Poland, no war got started. What's gone wrong, can that be a bad event choice by poland ?

As ENG you have to DOW GER over this if you want to go to war. Historically that is exactly what ocurred several days after GER invaded. You should have a GOI on POL if you've followed the historical event path so this isn't hard to do.

I had the game on fast and wasn't watching, got stopped by the message that poland got annexed. To late to declare now
I wanted to start over anyway, UK was much weaker then I had expected IC wise, so I need to play differently.
