Sorry if this is not the right place to post this. I could not find a thread specifically for giving feedback on the beta.
I have been playing with the new beta for a couple of hours (UNE to be as vanilla as possible, since I read that some civics have not been adapted to use the new mechanics yet). So far it has been pretty fun; pops are growing pretty quickly, which is a nice change of pace from having to wait for a single one to finish growing.
However, I have an issue with unemployment. Namely, in my main planet (Earth), instead of pops filling up all the available jobs, they sort of switch between being employed and unemployed in a loop. This affects all jobs in the worker strata.
In addition, although I have two colonies with plenty of open worker jobs, the unemployed ones from the capital don't migrate. The tooltip says that it is because Earth is the most likely target for migration, even though they are already there. If I then manually disable all worker jobs in the capital, I get told there is no valid auto-migration destination (but what about the colonies?)
Maybe the two issues are connected?
You can see both of them "live" in the screen recording I have attached.
The only mods I am using are "Beautiful universe 2.0" and "Planet size, display!"
Have I just missed something in the setup of my planet? Or is it a logic glitch?
