Everytime the game reaches Nov. 10, 1941, it crashes. Any suggestions as to resolving this issue?

Um, you posted the exact same thread in the HOI 1 support forum, so let's start by you telling me which game you actually play.
First of all, let me say that I appreciate the help you offer here. I am playing HoI2 (you are correct, I originally posted on the HoI forum before I noticed I was in the wrong forum). Thanks for the assistance.
Is this with any game you play or a particular saved game you load and play?
If it is a save, can you load the autosave or old autosave and play past the date with them?
