In CK3, is there any option to create a new Dynasty? And no, I don't mean creating new house branch, I want new Dynasty.
For example, my girl is overthrown by her uncle for the kingdom title. After several unsuccessful rebellious plans, her child has only 1 holding left. That one is zealous and geta land title from a crusade. There is no way this child can topple the current Dynast and the AI is choosing very sh*tty focus. Can the player create a new Dynasty (maybe with a very high cost and starting the dynasty's legacy from zero) rather than suffering the AI?

I think you maybe should be able to do something like that, could come at some massive cost, losing all dynastic legacies, all fame, all devotion and get a dynasty with large negative prestige, but on other hand it would let you Clean up from a messy dynasty and start something new, away from the old.

However the game currently do allow you to create new houses in the same dynasty which is perhaps enough.

I think there should be some mechanic for cadet houses cutting ties with their parent dynasties and starting new ones. Otherwise in very long games, you might end up with a very large amount of cadet houses all "ruled" by a singly dynastic head.

There should be some counterbalance to one family going all von Habsburg and putting their scions on every throne. Typically new royal houses were created by some sort of decree, so it could make sense that a ruler of sufficient power could create a new house a la the Hohenbergs, in order to break the yoke of a more powerful dynast. Imagine the royal houses of England, France and Spain being cadets of the HRE and subject to the emperors "hook" ability as dynastic head. Having some way for these rulers to break ties without having to outright conquer the HRE would be useful. It would also make the player strategy of putting your dynasts/cadets on every throne available less powerful if you risk them breaking free if the accumulate enough power.

I think it's a bit too early to know how cadet branches will play out.
Personally I rather fear that they will be too few and too irrelevant compared to the main houses of dynasties.

magine the royal houses of England, France and Spain being cadets of the HRE and subject to the emperors "hook" ability as dynastic head.
For that to happen, the dynasty in the HRE would need to "play" very well and install members of their dynasties on the throne. Not only is it very unlikely to happen, but if it does happen then it feels unfair to deprive that dynasty from their achievement.
And anyway, such cadet houses would still be able to compete with other branches for supremacy, which is interesting as well.

Cadet houses aren't the same thing as Personal Unions. It can't happen by chance.

No, but the head of the dynasty (most powerful member) gets an automatic hook on all other members. A hook that can be liked to Favors and be used to force people to comply with certain requests.

That is why I used the example of the HRE, as they are often the most powerful single title in 1066 Europe. It seems a little extreme for the kings of England/France/Spain to bow to the HRE's will regarding choice of spouse, just because they are from the same dynastic house.

I get the basic principle of the dynastic leader getting a hook. You want the backing of your most powerful family member, as their favor can directly translate into future opportunities for you. However, as you have more actual power of your own, I would imagine that the backing of your family head is not as important. Just like the "I am king!" malus to accepting becoming someones vassal, an independent king should also not be subject to the same level of control from his family as a count - even if his uncle is an Emperor.
