orthodox king conquering pope king => crash

I met another bug on v1.04a.

I'm king of lithuany and a few other places. I'm orthodox (it may be important)
I have a claim on the croatia king title.
The king of croatia is also king of papal state as a secondary king title.

when I get is craotia king title through peace, I get his vassals as mine, but I also get messages telling me that papal states overtook everyof the croatian king desmene.
so far so good, even if strange.
But when the pope dies.. crash to desktop.

I tried to F12 kill the king of croatia, butt his succesor inherits both titles, so I'm going nowhere.

I think there are two bugs : The pope title should not be inherited that way.
the game should not crash.

btw, is there a way I could edit the savegame to remove the papal state from that croatian king ? I need to do that in order to keep playing my game.. I got 14king titles, I feel I'm going to perform a WC...

Damn man, that sounds like a tough situation. If you are really desperate to do it at all costs just edin the savegame and remove the PAPA tag from the kingdom titles of croatia. Im not sure if in 1.04a the pope moves his kingdom to a new place

and do yourself the greatest favour - use the betas )

The way Papal states is treated has been changed in the betas so I highly doubt this kind of scenario is possible with them.

You could also try destroying him by taking all his demesne at the same time you take king of Croatia, that should make PAPA vanish.
