Well, now in Plazas & Promenades there is the Compact Bus Station! But yes, I also think that because tram is in a separate DLC, there aren't any hubs with it.

Oh, I see now. All I can say is that there is a trick to make shorter bus stops.
The stop always takes the whole segment. So, if you make a shorter segment, you get a shorter stop. The way to do it is:
1. Choose a road where you want the stop
2. Build roads with right angle on the edges of the wanted stop
3. Place the stop
4. Bulldoze the roads

By station do you mean multiple stops at a building? Like the After Dark station?
