Summary

Ottoman event 'Safeguarding the Line of Succession' incorrect display

Description

Taking the second option in the mentioned event, choosing NOT to kill the other potential heirs, should reduce legitimacy by 20. That's what the tooltip says at least. However, 3 / 3 attempts now and picking this option reduces legitimacy by 40!
Visiting the EUIV Wiki this seems to be WAD at 20%, and I merely had "luck". However, the percentages stated in the wiki aren't reflected in the event!

Steps to reproduce

Play as Ottomans, ironman. Receive the mentioned event and pick the option to not kill your children. Legitimacy drops by x2 of what is displayed in the event text.

Do you mean that the percentages are not shown in the event? It looks like these percentage chances for something bad is what the event option means by "The other heir-members will be left at the custody of the Harem and free to sabotage our nation..."

Or do you mean that you always get the same outcome and not a 20% chance for each outcome? That's because the randomness for these chances is determined at the moment when the event pops up and not when you click the event option.

I meant that the follow up scenarios aren't displayed beforehand, nor afterwards. I only understood what happened after I looked up the wiki. However, I realise this might not be a bug, but a feature request - it depends on what it is meant to display. But not receiving an update what these bad events were is weird. I really wondered why my legitimacy was so low. There should at least be a follow up saying hey we lost 30 legitimacy because of this.

The whole thing about this event is a problem. I remember this event occurs many times when I play as the Ottomans, and if I press the second option it happens again later. What does "Vali Ahad" means anyway? It is not even Ottoman-Turkish. The Ottoman crown-princes was called "Sehzade - Shahzadeh".

I think the repetition is WAD - having the others alive continuously messes with your nation's stability.
Doesn't the second refer to the "wife" ?

To clarify the goal of this post: a description of what is about to happen, or at least what has happened, should be displayed.
