Hi there.
A small mini AAR background story first. If you don't care, just scroll down to my questions below the Wall of text.
I recently started a game as Alienor de Poitou (Eleanor of Aquitaine) and right after start I managed to win the Crusade for Andalusia. Took the option to move there (loosing my lands in Southern France).
Later her son Frederi the Bastard (thats his nickname), a ruler with godlike martial ability but with 6 or less in all other fields (even 0 in diplomacy) took over and participated in the next Crusade against Fatimid Egypt.
I landed left to the Sinai where the Papal army already got crushed and I was attacked by a similarly big army to mine. The enemy got some reinforcements though and my army of 21k men faced the initial Egyptian army of 23k. They had full morale, while I had 50% because of the naval landing. Egypt got reinforcements which increased their army to 29k over the course of the battle. The only reason why I won this battle, were three Duels against their army leaders which my ruler (with 10 in personal combat) won easily and each time increased the morale of my army. Through this the Egyptian army got grinded to death and I relativly easily won the Crusade.
After that I had the option of gaining one of two Empire titles, either Occitan Empire or Outremer. I chose the latter and gave the Duchy of Alexandria to a Bishop, causing an event that gave him the title of Latin Patriarch.
I fought a small holy war for Jerusalem after that (which is divided between the Fatimids and a Sunni Sultan who usurped Jerusalem in a revolt and still has many Catholic vassals). I gave my son and heir the duchy of Jerusalem.
Now to the questions.
1. When I have recovered the Kingdom of Jerusalem, will I be able to vassalize the holy orders just like in vanilla?
2. As stated I gave the duchy of Jerusalem to my son and heir. Will the bishop that controls the church holding in Jerusalem gain the title Latin Patriarch only when he is given the duchy or county?
3. The Grand Tournament event caused my ruler to loose several points of his already bad stewardship. Going from 6 down to 2. Is this intended to happen several times in a row (it was always the same event)?
4. As stated, the duels and gaining morale from them was what won the Crusade for Egypt for me. Is the bonus intended to be that strong? I'm not complaining mind you. If this would have been vanilla, I would have been annihilated though.
5. Seeing how successful my campaign has been so far and considering that my heir is now married to a Byzantine princess, I plan to invade the ERE (which is ruled by a female). When I eventually gain the title of the ERE will I keep both it and Outremer or will I have to choose which one to keep?
6. Not a question per se, but I often get event requests from nobles who want my support for invading some distant realm. Often it's the same guy over and over. Doesn't matter if I support him or decline his offer, it often pops up several times in a row from the same character. This should probably be looked at.
I may have more questions later.
Also I'm having such a blast with this mod currently that all I can say is: Awesome job! Keep it up and thank you. I just love the faction system.
