I've loaded up as Germany and played until late 1915. When loading the scenario, these errors pop up:

ID conflicet {type = 27111 id = 7} at TGW/scenarios/1914/british.inc 422
ID conflicet {type = 27111 id = 8} at TGW/scenarios/1914/british.inc 427
ID conflicet {type = 27111 id = 7} at TGW/scenarios/1914/british.inc 434
ID conflicet {type = 27111 id = 8} at TGW/scenarios/1914/british.inc 439

Once in the game:

1 - Japan declares war on China straight away. (solution, reduce war entry)

2 - Big problem. Russia leaves the Entente before Franz Ferdinand is shot. (solution, make Russia a bit more democratic??)

3 - Britain declares war on me without even joining the Entente. (solution, severely reduce British war entry such that they can only declare war via event, at least in early game.)

4 - I take Amiens, Auxerre, and Paris very very quickly. France surrenders but I get nothing - maybe the early French defeat should just cede Metz to Germany - not unreasonable. Belgium and Luxembourg, although not in the French alliance, have also been defeated. (solution, Luxembourg should be annexed regardless of when it is defeated. Metz to Germany)

5 - 3 months later France cancels military access and declares war on Germany again. This is absurd. (solution, when a country is defeated, make puppet). This mattered little because I annexed France very soon (victory points issues)

6 - During the brief second war I got a few French colonies. Strange. Maybe the first peace treaty gives me this and it was only implemented during the second war. (I suggest that the colonies be handed over immediately after the defeat conditions, add trigger which event XXXXX to do it immediately.)

Firstly, the event files I sent you are far from perfect - the ones I have stored in a seperate folder generally work however. So the problems you are experiencing may have been problems that I fixed, but never bothered to correct in the actual events folder.

I notice that Hejaz seems to cede its territory to the Ottoman Empire - the simplest solution to this problem would be to remove Turkey's territorial claims to the area. (This may already have been done)

As for France surrendering, you have to wait a few months for the Treaty of Strasbourg event to kick in - depending on what the date is, a different kind of treaty will trigger: one before May 1915 is relatively generous, the one after is very harsh and expansionist. The events have been made so that, if France is defeated, Luxembourg and Belgium are also defeated with them.

To ensure that France does not declare war again, I think it would be wiser to reduce their war entry rating to a minimum, instead of going to the lengths of adding puppet events.

The Treaty of Strasbourg may have triggered for your first victory, yet only appeared in the interim period between France's defeat and their decision to resume the war against you. Having the Peace Treaty trigger as soon as a country is defeated would be unrealistic, and any problem with countries launching revenge wars can be curbed by reducing war entry.

Nevertheless, I shall check the events and make necessary changes.

Is there an event command to remove units? If so, a random 20 maybe of French units disbanded would probably keep them from declaring war again. I would recommend, that if we can do that, that all the treaties be given that.
