Papal controller missing.

So I'm playing the very first scenario, grand campaign. I think it's the 1066 one. So when I load up the save strange thing happens. Papal controller switches each time I load up the game and not only that. When I check character of papal controller the cross never shows up. Once it even said I'm the papal controller yet I couldn't do any actions related to this. Oh yes, and crusades never end.

I'm using newest patch 1.04a on win XP.

Yups. Lots of issues have been dealt with in the public beta patches.

Also reading the sticky "Read before posting" would be nice.

Especially the parts about searching for older threads and not reporting many bugs in one thread.

You should trust this one. It is much, much better then the latest official patch and also much more stable.

Allright I downloaded it. It improved game in some aspects but degraded it in others. Still I think I'm going to "test" it some more.
