I hope not, but it probably will be. I hope there is a cardinal college and you can see who is in it that way you have some idea of who might be elected as well as a list of people to try to bribe or otherwise influence.

That would be great - even if it were just a popup showing how the Cardinals voted.:)

I agree, that we should at least know which dicoeses are eligable for election of Pope. How about give a bonus of having a cardinal being from your land for election of ur family as pope?

Will the Pope be chosen by Cardinals or will he come from a straight list as in EU?

After thinking about it more they will probably come from a straight list - well the names anyway. Since the Popes have different names from their real name the list of historical popes (and anti-popes) could be used. Your cardinal may be elected pope but he would take the name of the the actual pope from that period of the game.:)

Except that one or two might not live as long or live longer and distrupt the possibility of names mirroring real life. But in general i expect them to have basically the same or similar names as real popes.

That can be fixed by having the popes die at the time they did IRL.
Some of that might be a little strange but not too far off base.:)

What system is that, for us that don´t have that game...

In short,

There is a pool of playing (cardinals) who get voted. The game has each (cardinal) vote based on their opinion of them. The vote gets tallied before your eyes, and you throw in your vote whenever you feel like: you can vote early, or vote at the end.

Not very elaborative today, eh? :D

Actually...what is in the design is one thing what the coder make of it is another. I always want the coder to have the space he needs. So I do not want to comment this feature any further until its coded.:)
