Paradox Launcher

i tried to find a thread specifcally for this but i couldnt. im trying to download the launcher but when i try to log in on the launcher page it says:

We're sorry, but something went wrong.​

If you are the application owner check the logs for more information.

if i try to just download it its like it refreshes the page but nothing gets downloaded. i have checked my downloads but it doesnt show up

What you are trying to download is actually the standalone Paradox client, aka launcher v1. You cannot play CK2 or PRison Architect (the only 2 Steam games I see in your account) from that client, only Stellaris and games newer than that were ever ported to that platform.

You can't play any Epic games from it either, I'm afraid - they must be played from Epic.

thanks for letting me know but i tried playing prison architect through the epic games store but it crashed whenever i was in the main menu so i couldnt get passed it so i thought if i downloaded the client it might help

A change of client or launcher will not stop a game crashing, no. Best to seek help in the support forum for the game, or in a support ticket at paradox.zendesk.com .
